I am a compassionate licensed Mental Health counselor who uses a strengths-based, holistic approach that seeks to guide the client to their own personal truth. I believe the client is the expert of their experience and I see my role as that of a trained guide who assists clients on their path to healing. I believe art also can serve as a container for the client to access their own innate wisdom, and I am able to work collaboratively with the client through art, writing, music, and movement to provide another layer to explore learning and deep transformation.
My passion is in supporting women and girls to empower themselves and their communities. I am an ardent advocate for women’s issues and value my ability to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to grow and thrive. I focus on treating people with respect and sensitivity, while addressing aspects of individuality and diversity. My ability to hold space through heartfelt presence and to bring an empathic ear to the therapeutic process is what allows me to support clients and help them create positive change for themselves.
